I don't have any videos of me driving it, but here's an exhaust vid I took the other day.

06-07 would probably work as the pitman arm geometry is the same, you'd just use the correct arm for your box. As far as the 2500 goes I have no idea what they use. I know the GMT900 switched to a R&P setup on the 1500 and the 2500 is a gearbox, but I don't know if it is the same.

Is a Quick Ratio Box Right For Me?

Nothing crazy, just a 4" shackle flip and a bit of crank in the front. Tires are 285/70/17.

Is a Quick Ratio Box Right For Me?

The Borgeson box mentioned earlier in the thread is the same as the GMT800 box I have, but with the older style splined shaft so it's a direct swap. The GMT800 Delphi box is 12.7:1. Just don't flail the wheel like an idiot and it works fine, I am lifted and have oversized tires.

Dug into my front suspension today. Now I have a steering knuckle question.

All of this is why I went with forged control arms. They are much more rust resistant than the stamped ones. I had to cut my old bars out, and beat the piss out of them to get the remains out of the crossmember. I enlarged the holes in the back of the crossmember so if I have to remove them...

I have a spare I rebuilt that had about 150k on it, and the internals looked good. Try and find one that isn't leaking and it will probably be fine.

    OBD1 ABS Power Brake Bleed - Kelsey Hayes 4wal - Snap-on MT2500

If you do get the bleed procedure to work, it would be cool if you could figure out a way to hijack the signal being sent to the ABS, so it can be replicated with a simple modern single purpose device. Basically plug a little box onto the port, press a button and voila, brake bleed procedure...

What type of transfer case is in my suburban, and how does it mechanically kick into 4x4?

Should be a New Process 243C. It works the same way as the manual shifted case, but instead of a manual linkage it has an actuator motor on the side of the case to move the sector. The front axle disconnect also works the same way as a manual case.

13 inch rotors. They also use a much nicer PBR caliper with larger pistons. As far as I know the GMT900s all use the same front rotor, these came off a junkyard 2008 Yukon XL.

Will someone help me interpret my TunerPro output so I know if I should load the parts cannon?

You claim it smells rich, keep in mind that a very rich mixture can actually show up as a false lean to an oxygen sensor. Have you checked any plugs to verify the mixture?

I have upgraded to GMT900 brakes! These are the biggest that fit with a 17" wheel. Since I was already running GMT800 brakes, it was a snap to install. Only took about an hour. I need to bleed them a bit more but with the ALDL trick to cycle the ABS pump I should be able to get the trapped air...

It is an evolution. The valving was based on contemporary rack and pinion style setups. The Saginaw is an early 60's design. The Delphi has much better feel.

I wish I had known about that adapter at the time. That would have made the swap easier. I may actually look into getting one because I have never found a good solution to make the boot at the firewall fully tight.

    Heater Quick connector fitment

It does fit a little loose, it relies on the o-ring inside the fitting for seal.

What manual transfer case to run with a nv4500?

The BW4401 has an electric clutch that needs to be wired in. I've never actually messed with one so I don't know exactly how it's controlled.
