How to get Coil per Cylinder and LSx ignition control on a L31 SBC Write up
You don't have to change any O2 wiring. Just delete the heater codes. Depending on the calibration, the PCM is looking for a return signal from the O2 heaters. Since your O2s don't get grounded from the PCM, it will set codes.- Lextech

That PCM does have IAC drivers and will run DBC. What has to be done to the PCM is to flash a DBC calibration into it. Jeff- Lextech

The pinout is the same. I think it is easier to rework the Vortec harness for the Gen3 engine. It already fits your truck. Jeff- Lextech
