A few wiring questions

Hi Guys I have an 89 K2500 HD standard cab Silverado, 350, Auto, 8 lug. With a flatbed. There is a wire cable running to the back of the bed. It is 4 conductors. Tail, L & R turn and a mystery wire. It is not ground and is not hot for a backup light. What is it for? I need it to be the...

Curious engine issue

I know my 89 has a sender by the distributor that is hooked into the oil pressure of the motor. I know this tells the fuel pump that the motor is running when there is pressure. I am not sure if this has anything else to do with the motor.

Best way to prep and paint rusty frame.

Everything I have is rusty living in Northern Ohio. They mine the salt from under Lake Erie so it is all over the place. Yes, epoxy is the best on a surface prepared for it and you can afford it (i never get it that clean). Acid changers and most paints did nothing for me, with the exception...
