Need to ID my steering gear

I have a 98 Chevy 3500 crew cab single wheel one ton with a 5.7 vortec. I need to identify what series the steering gear is. I don't think it's a series 500.

1998 crew cab CMT-400 3500 single wheel slide off drums

Thanks for the reply and you are 100% right it was still the drums. Carquest wanted to replace them but I declined. I ended up buying not cheap by an means genuine GM drums they say are made in the USA but I have my doubts. More like Mexico but that's worlds better than China. The new drums...
