    Daily truck pics

Parked next to this really clean '95/96 ECLB c1500 yesterday. I took a quick glance at the mileage, and it's only got 74,000. Man that's a nice truck.

Ever had this happen to you? The wiper drive seems to have broken in some way.

'98 Busurban Storm Chase Vehicle Build

So I started to notice a bit of positive camber on the Burb the other day and decided to investigate. Turns out that my upper ball joints failed me after just 2 years (they're looser than the originals were before I replaced them). This premature faliure may be attributed to a few factors such...

2001 Chevrolet S10 Blazer Daily Driver Build

Due to my bad forecasting, I managed not to ruin the blazer on this nearly 2000 mile escapade. But it did have a few minor issues. First off, the check engine light would flash due to a misfire whenever going up hill at high speed. Sounds to me like either dirty spider injectors or maybe the...

'98 Busurban Storm Chase Vehicle Build

I don't really see why one of these brackets wouldn't work? Though it's a shortcut, it seems like a pretty effective one. Could you elaborate on why it won't work? I guess drilling these bolts out and putting helicoils in it just sounds like hell to me (they're broken off below the surface)...

I still don't know, I still got to have the whole SRS system scanned.

2001 Chevrolet S10 Blazer Daily Driver Build

I'm ready to go ruin my mint blazer. I'm driving to NE Oklahoma tonight for tomorrow's severe storm setup (outbreak potential).

2001 Chevrolet S10 Blazer Daily Driver Build

Yeah, I saw the videos, I like your channel. I really got to invest into a decent welder (like a Millermatic 211).

CEL, P0307. Pulled the plug and looks like oil is on my sparkplug. What would cause oil to be on sparkplugs?

With only 83,000 miles, I wouldn't think that the spark plug fouling would be due to worn piston rings (unless the original owner really didn't take care of it). I'm leaning towards dried out valve seals. Luckilly, this is a pretty doable job, the only special tool you'd need to get is a valve...

2001 Chevrolet S10 Blazer Daily Driver Build

Got the door jamb fixed, now all I've got to do is paint it (the welds look so nice that I don't think I'm gonna bother with any filler). I'm not this good of a welder obviously, I paid a fabrication shop to do this ($130). I also slotted the wholes on the striker in order go gain some adjustment.

Painted my truck with turbo cans lol

I'd feel a lot better about painting over tractor paint with hardener than over rustoleum. UV damage doesn't tend to cause delamination anyways, just fading. That's why tractor paint may be a good option for the fauxtina look. I did my '74 GMC with come catepillar yellow Majic brand tractor...

Painted my truck with turbo cans lol

I wouldn't do it again unless it was a proper beater. If you are going through the trouble of fixing rust or an dents, at least pick up a harbor freight paint gun as well as some tractor paint with hardener. It'll look 20 times and will not delaminate as easily as rustoleum. Also, if you were...

Painted my truck with turbo cans lol

I've done the Rustoleum Turbo paint job a few times myself. It's kinda ironic that I'm an actual Autobody Technician now
