Chasing down a miss
I didnt see anywhere anything about the MAF. Clean the MAF and check the temp sensor on the front of the thermostat housing, or just replace it. That temp sensor sends the ecm engine temp, if it runs good while cold and bad while hot. The ecm could be running the wrong parameters for that temp...- Jdoggat22

Exactly. For the tach go to dakota digital and get a tach module. It adjusts tach signal from the W terminal on the alternator to match the ending rpm at the tach. Not sure i would change the dash harness, i did a cummins swap in my 98 with out pulling the dash harness. But i had to nearly cut...- Jdoggat22

CODE PO300 Random Misfire Detected - @ Wits End!
Ive had 2 true random misfires in my trucks history and plenty on other cars. Most common problem is the MAF. 1st. MAF was dirty. No MAF code just dirty from using a k&n filter, oil got on it. Well fellas, the drive shaft shop quoted me around 1000 for the cv setup in the pics 1999gmc sent me. So just out of chance i thought i should cut the carrier bearing mount out. I dropped the cb all the way to the top of the cross member and welded the mounting plate right on top to the cross...- Jdoggat22

Same exact issue. Do you have a pic of the drive shaft they made? I need the same thing. DS shop here said to let the carrier bearing loose to move around, way worse! Please help haha im tired of this.- Jdoggat22
