    Gave it another look. Stuck my hand behind the manifold and the entire gasket has been blown out from between the upper and lower intake manifold. Easy fix, just took a week to find the problem. Thanks for all the help guys.

    It's a big hole with a lot of air so it should be obvious. I don't see anything cracked or broken. Never thought of the Owings where the spider assembly sits. That will be my next check, thanks.

    I checked for vac leaks, one small leak at the pcv, not enough to support 5000rpm. I even stuffed a shop towel into the throttle body to block it off and there was no change.

    Ok. Before I junk it, I'll ask here. 5.7/4l60. Truck shut off and wouldn't start. Fuel pressure 62 psi, had codes for crank and cam sensor, and no spark. Replaced cap, rotor and coil, IAC valve, cam sensor and now starts right up and revs to 5000rpm then dies. If I disconnect mass airflow sensor...

    Same year and motor, same problem, except #6 cylinder misfire. Had zero compression on that cylinder, tore it down to find a bent valve.

    2 weep holes on the water pump, always seems to be the top hole that is leaking when I cant find where the coolant is coming from. Double up on the clamps if the hoses wont stop leaking, place them 180 degrees from each other, if that doesn't stop the leak then just replace the hose. Water pump...
