I will get some pics of my upper control arms shortly weather is bad here now. I personally think grade 5 would be fine.

After looking at this today there is no adjustment at the ball joint it just bolts to upper control arm. The cam bolts are at the other end of control arms. My truck is a 93 k2500.

I’ve heard of this method as well but forgot. Only bad thing about that is I would have to pay for an alignment again. I guess either way I would though if I remove the ball joint to install spacer.

I definitely don’t want to do anything sketchy and I like to do things the right way. I’m not trying to crank my bars just looking for some more droop when the wheel drops down.

I mean this bolts on right where the ball joint bolts and just spaces it out a little to give you some more breathing room between bump stop and upper control arm. Thank you for your responses and help!

I have a 93 Sierra with a 6 inch rough country lift. I was wondering if anyone has used upper ball joint spacers to increase the space between upper bump stop? Like these. Any input is appreciated.

I’ve put 19 inch blades on my stock 93 arms and they worked fine. If I could put 23 or even 24 inch blades that would be nice. In order to do that the wiper arms would need to be shorter. Cleaning the windshield with the steel wool works wonders against the skipping.
