    What are you using for the lower intake manifold, Scoggins Dicky? What are you doing to address the fuel vapor system?

    You should find out the carrier "break" (differential carrier deck height) before doing gears, it does make a difference. From what I see you should be good to go. As far as the shims go you may get lucky, then again you may not. It's always good practice to check the tooth contact pattern...

    Are you having pads poured for a lift or is the floor thick enough without doing that? I have a concrete floor that's 4-5 inches thick but I'm under the impression that lifts require thicker support pads than that. Will you have a lift?

    I suggested the TPI because it has a usable rpm range for a daily driver and I think it looks great. That's just my own personal opinion. A lot of the choice depends on how you want to use the truck. If it's going to be a daily driver with occasional towing I'd base my decision on those...

    I've seen LT1 fan setups in the recycling yards that look like they'd move plenty of air. As a matter of fact I've also read that the LT1 Roadmaster used a mechanical as a secondary fan setup for towing applications.
