the 88-95 cooler ends are different. the fitting is indeed 3/8 but I think it's NPT... does it fit an NPTF female?
the 96-99 cooler 89022535 I bought from rockauto and it's still available today. they have also GM lines for both 88-95 and 96-99. the fittings are indeed discontinued but I found...
I bought for my 95 suburban the 96-99 GM trans cooler but the lines don't fit it. (the 95 cooler is discontinued). Is it possible to replace the quick connection fittings of the cooler with the old style ones to match the lines?
I'm trying to figure out how this circuit work.
if both wires from C of the oil pressure switch and A3 of the relay are live and spliced- doesn't it make a short or sparks?
and if there's no oil pressure, the pump is still getting power from the relay, so what makes the engine to stall?
correct. they ask to ground a single wire from the pcm when in P or N.
I found a green wire on the c200 connector that gets voltage when in P, so I can use a relay to ground that pcm wire. I still remain with the N problem.
so if I test for voltage with a test bulb either wire somewhere after the cluster as in the picture it won't lit the bulb? should I test ground by checking for continuity between the wire and ground?
I have a single wire with the psi harness that needs to be grounded when in N or P so I...
this is the 95 diagram. I totally don't understand it. what are the 4 ranges and and what's the parity shmarity? and how does it show 7 positions on the cluster?
I was thinking that those 4 wires should light a grounded test bulb between the cluster and the tranny but no.
i want to do the same on my 95. I found a wire that has voltage when in park (the green wire on center bottom of c200), but can't find anything for neutral. the plug with 4 wires on the tranny doesn't have voltage although the position indicator in the instruments is working.
Doing an ls swap with psi harness on 95 k2500 suburban. The harness has iss and vss plugs. I understand that the iss is the front sensor, isn’t it? But there’s no rear sensor on the tranny. So where does the vss plug go?
I bought a PSI harness and pcm, and the instructions recommend getting a park or neutral signal to the pcm, by grounding a certain wire whenever the tranny is in these positions.
where can I connect the wire to?
I've found this wire behinde the glove box on the c200 connector and on one of the pcm connectors.
But they want another wire that does the opposite- gives 12V when the brakes are applied so the dbw throttle body can function. where do I find it? it's a 95 suburban and the factory electrical...
