set screw has to be on the bottom,otherwise it will not be orientated correctly to get it perfectly straight read through this thread...

that chopped wires looks pink but according to the manual it should be white and it's "ignition switch output, off, run, crank", going...

The bolt holes through the frame are oversized. This plate is sandwiched between the frame rail and bumper mounts to keep the bumper...

It works like a friction washer, it has a rough texture on both sides so after you adjust the bumper/mount combo it stays in place.
