    MY GMT400 Tahoe with DRL, the DRL comes on with the ignition key in the on position, unless you click the parking brake down one click, which turns the DRL OFF.

    I ran I ran mine underneath, using RG6 coax. The coax that came with the camera was suspect. RCA to F connectors are available.

    Suburban & Tahoe Rear Pillar Door Lock Switch

    My 1999 Tahoe 2 door has the switch. I wired a magnetic switch in parallel with it, placing it against the glass in the bottom left-hand corner of the side glass. If I get locked out, I just have to put a magnet against the glass and both doors unlock.

    I went with this https://www.gmperformancemotor.com/parts/19420885.html in my 1999 2 door Tahoe. It dropped right in without any modifications. Just add a tune. I liked that it was new and had a GM warranty.
