Yep. Definitely going to attempt this. Tired of reaching over to adjust the radio, not impressed with my cheap-o aftermarket radio/bluetooth phone capabilities, and my color match paint job didn't match. (My OCD flared up so bad, I haven't even reinstalled it.) Thanks for the well written how-to!
Problem solved. Um. Lets just say, note to self, do not to finish a wiring project in the dark again. Bare wire I forgot to tape off that was grounding against a bolt head. Oops! So far no popped fuses!

I bought one of those connectors that tees directly into the wiring harness at the box connector. I soldered and shrink wrapped those connections to the new trailer plug connector on the truck. I'll try unplugging it. Check it out. See what I find. Thanks for a start.

I'm stumped guys. 93 Chevy and keep popping the parking lamp/horn fuse. Back story to when my problems started. Pulled a camper 4 hours. Everything worked great. Arrived at my destination, unhooked and parked the truck. Moved it about an hour later and it popped. So far I've checked turn...
I'm about a day late and a dollar short viewing/replying to this thread but better late than never I guess. Shout out from Central City. Grand Island sounds good (but that's cuz I'm only 20 minutes away! haha!) Any of you guys ever hit 'O' St. in Lincoln during Americruise or Kearney cruise night?
