    Fixed it, checked the continuity from the altenator to the plug and there was nothing, ran a new wire and boom charging. Mayne the tugging in the wires to soldier them caused it to break.

    The battery light doesn't come on when I start it. I tested it and it's good. I took an old light and even tried wiring it in line to test. The altenator is not charging.

    Don't know if anyone can help but I just swapped my 89 silverado moon gauges for 94 gauges with tach. And now my volts show only 12v pretty sure it was 14v before the swap. I have the brown wire connected but not even the the battery light comes on, when starting the truck either.
