    sorry to change the subject , but i have a question you could answer , im having gauge issues with oil pressure , and im looking for and oil plug i can install aftermarket gauge to , i think there is a port on drivers side close to oil filter mount, dont want to put it on top where sending unit...

    to replace that you have to remove steering wheel , and airbag, its not hard but it is dangerous, you miht want a shop to do that for you for your safety

    yes that is a cold manifold leak and miss , quite common on those engines , new intake manifold will cure that

    are you sure you got your crank back from machine shop, not hard to get them switched

    you need to stop using starting fluid , it drys out cylinders and too much will destroy engine , if you must , use penetration oil , i is oil based and will not dry out cylinders and it will work the same as starting fluid

    98 k1500 Oil cooler lines

    i agree , my 98 has original lines , i had a gasket seap at oil filter adapter so i bought dealer kit for 5.00 and new line adapters for 13.00 each, and at 206,000 mile still going strong with no leaks, no not a weak link in engine
