1990 Clutch?

Bled the clutch system and pedal is much better. Before the clutch would start to engage even with pedal to the floor. Now I can hold it all day long. Normal driving it is fine. If I pump it 7/8 times it will fade. I suspect the plunger in the clutch master cylinder is slow in returning. I'll...

1990 Clutch?

1990/K1500/RCLB/350/5spd/123k Clutch pedal travels to floor unrestricted. Reservoir is full. Can shut it off and it seems I can shift it again. But pedal is super soft and at slow speeds forget about it. No slippage under power through the gears. What causes this? What do I need to look for? To...

Well after looking at it again, doesn't seem to be anything leaking out around it so I'm not going to mess with it. I could see myself creating a problem out of nothing. So I got the radiator in, but didn't pickup the studs for the water pump pulley so gotta get that tomorrow. Next question...

1990 K1500 RCLB 350/5spd I'm replacing my radiator, water pump, & clutch fan, and upon tear down I saw what looks to be a bad seal. I am an engine novice, so please forgive me. But this is in the crank & timing chain cover area, under the water pump area. Is this a pita to change? Needs fixed...

Fitment is fine. R & R of the CV is pretty gravy. Frustrating part was dealing with the sway bar end link. My sway bar must be bent because the EL was a pita to remove. Hard to get a good line on the bottom through the lower control arm. Ended up cutting the old one out and replacing with new...

Apparently all the CVs (from Advanced anyhow) for that truck have the tone ring. Part maker covers all the trucks with the one design.
