i totally agree do everything at once i actually did them separately so i double worked it. there is also alignment knock outs in the frame i didn't do i was able to align it without knock en them out
none of the job is actually easy but you will save big $$$ if you can do it yourself.
i burned...
i did the swap in my truck. i used the fuel pump trigger wire from the 411 ecm taped it into the the relay and kept the factory fuel pump relay and wiring. i was just saying the other day if i did it again i would not do my own harness.you can do it with 3 wires and keep the fuse block.
the top is riveted on if it hasn't been done b4. i did mine on the truck - grinder + air chisel and BFH. i also did the bottoms on the truck beat the crap out of them.you will need several floor jacks.
it's not that easy
just throwing this out there...they are a direct bolt in and all the grills from 89 to 99 have the same headlight pockets, just think they will never yellow get cloudy and have to be replaced buy cheap/trendy china housings. they are like LEVIES they never go out of style
I used a cable from a 5.3 that a cable t/b + a 4l60 from a 2003/411 pcm .i couldn't find a way to get the tv cable to work.
i also took the cruse cable from that same 5.3 and my cruse works.
NO SWAP KIT HAS IT ALL!!! you will have to surf Google and figure out some/alot of things for yourself...
