You wouldn't happen to recall what those numbers actually were, do you?

JCribb, I've picked up on that same condescension via email myself. The thing that I found funny was something he said in the last email to me: "If you wanted more power then you should have bought a more powerful engine to start with." What a strange thing to say coming from someone who runs...

Can you expound on that? I don’t have any personal experience, so I’m relying on the experience of others. Brian Harris recommends them, and it seems like everyone sings his praises... They do seem to have a pretty good warranty compared to other builders, although I can imagine the trouble...

Ok guys, an update to an old thread. I am still deployed, but I'm buying parts for this build for when I return. I've settled on the 383 stroker, but I'm still working out exactly what I'm getting and who I'm getting it from. I'm either going to buy from ATK Performance or an Ebay builder...

    New Dash?

I've seen that guy before but forgot about him. Thanks.

    New Dash?

I followed that link and it took me to qualitycarinterior.com. The product that they have looks exactly the same as what LMC Truck has. That's more than likely the way I'll have to go. Thanks for your help.

    New Dash?

Has anyone found a company who sells the actual dashboard for the 88-94 trucks? I've talked to LMC Truck on the phone, and someone else (can't remember) with no luck. If I can't find a whole replacement I guess I'll just go with the Dash cover from LMC.

Let's Talk Towing (With a 25+ Year Old Truck)

Here you go. My truck is a 4wd so I lose the 7500 lbs for 7000. I am assuming you have the 5.7. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Let's Talk Towing (With a 25+ Year Old Truck)

If it's a 91, unless it has the F44 suspension package (14 bolt semi-float), you're limited to 6500 max. Might be even less if you don't have 3.73 gears like you said. Mine's a 92 with F44 3.73, and 7,000 is my max. I have the paperwork if you'd like to see it. It's for 1992 but there was no...

    Stumbling after warm start

So here’s a question that I have. The truck runs great in general, and this problem has begun showing up now that the weather is getting warmer. After a warm start, when I put the truck in gear, it will stumble some until I give it gas, then it goes away. It doesn’t die, or hasn’t yet. And it...

I’ve looked at the Holley Sniper and that’s the way I’d like to go. I am a little concerned about emissions though. This truck is my daily and I don’t want to end up having to spend more to get compliant if the Army ever moves me to where we HAVE to get smog tested, etc. Sent from my iPhone...

    New Paint for Hattie(92 Z71)

Yeah, I’m in the process of getting to tow faster, hah hah, but I decided that I needed to do something I could see because I was getting anxious about driving around an old, tired looking truck. Now I’m refreshed The wheels definitely need some upgrading, but that will have to wait. I’ll end...

    New Paint for Hattie(92 Z71)

Yeah, the paint looks fine. It’s the sanding I should’ve done in places. They really didn’t take the time to do anything but rough it up enough to make the new paint stick. I removed the trim, but didn’t sand the glue residue off because I assumed they would when they sanded it down...WRONG...
