    94 tbi 350 sputters and stalls with advance line plugged in...

    Make sure that your harmonic balancer has not shifted due to worn old rubber. I recently ran into this while attempting to set my base timing.

    Upgrade stock amp along with speakers?

    You can also use a quality line output converter to create a rca connection from the factory speaker wires. At that point you'd have more options for amp / speaker / sub combinations & wouldn't have to rely on 30 year old equipment to power your speakers, you're just tapping into the audio...

    1988 dash speaker replacement

    Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum & in the process of upgrading my 91 rcsb audio system. I found these 4" speakers https://www.crutchfield.com/p_575R14X2/Rockford-Fosgate-R14X2.html that come with a 4x6" adapter plate. They have a silk dome tweeter so the highs shouldn't be too harsh.
