Check out my thread in the RC lift thread. I have the WFO shackle flip kit and a 3 inch body lift on the rear of my k2500. RC front lift kit and for the rear I used a 2 degree shim and it drives fine/ no vibes. Let me know if you want any more pics...
I can take a picture of my k2500 as I have the short thick overload spring on my leaf pack, 1996 k2500 with 454 and 14 bolt axle.
OP- have you looked into installing airbags? Most k2500's if 8 lug have essentially the same springs front and rear. My torsion bars are only one code level below...

My A/C, 96 k2500 was blowing warmer and warmer and I topped it up using a fix a can from autzone but the system didn't take that much oil/ freon. Took it to a local firestone and the leak tested and sure enough- shcrader valve was culprit. They did an extraction and refill and its ice cold.
Good to know- I ended up using my old stock mounts and using poly inserts. While they are a bear to get in (used a vice and tack welded the shells together/ zip ties are a nice idea but not practical) the mounted right back up to stock bolt holes and ride like stock. I have the poly tranny mount...
Rough Country will give you 4 inches with no crank FYI. Just installed it on my 96 k2500. The 6 inches the advertise is with a t-bar crank... brackets are all laser cut and it was a fun install.
I looked at that really hard and ended up with the flaming river joint replacement. Easy install with some grinding. 1996 k2500, joint definitely now enhances the loosness of my steering box with 269k lol... no evidence if it was ever replaced.
I vote SAS and trail bed and 37's but what do I know?! Might be biased as thats my current build with a k2500 ext cab... and eventually going SAS! WFO has a great kit x member and link kit for a ford dana 60 and they can redrill to 8x6.5 too.
Very nice- I got into the travel trailer world this last summer and love it. Ironically I do not use my k2500 to tow as I got a lightweight 16 footer but its been fun to work on and mod!
Nice harness- I appreciate clean wiring! Is that one of the brake controllers with built in gyro that senses vehicle braking and then adjusts signal to rear brakes?
Correct- clearance is tight where the shaft bolts on is in the opposite direction of stock. I had to shave a little off my new bolt and ensure the bolt and nut wouldn’t contact the axle flange. This might be one of the reasons the bolts are like this from the factory.
Yes- this is what I did when I installed my lift. Then, ended up 5/8 getting grade 8 zinc coated bolts to match all the hardware that came with the lift. I have nuts on the inside and no problems so far. Its a little tight to the axle flange but good by my standards.
In as I want to go this route vs. blower/ supercharger. Turbo parts and kits like STS are plentiful vs discontinued supercharger kits or $$$ kits like vortec. With the 0411 swap, larger injectors and a high output fuel pump and either a remote set up post cats would be a very simple/ ample room...
