I had a very similar issue, it would crank and crank but wouldn't run, but the next day it might start. It ended up being the ignition control module on mine. I bought a cheap one first, but it was worse than before. So i finally just bought a performance distributor icm and haven't had a issue...
I ordered a new harness, corvette servo, and billet accumulator pistons since it would be apart anyway. Should be here tomorrow. Hopefully that fixes it.
You would remove the old line and put a 96 line on it and screw that line into the adapter. the 96 line already has the right bend so there is no need for that leaky GM adapter. It is a Gates 353950. But I also agree that your steering box might have problems also.

It has to be this valve. I ordered a jegs first, but it had the inverted flare so it woudnt screw into the pressure hose
As far as fitment they were fine. It doesn't matter what brand you get they will still have to be adjusted. I park on a level area in front of a garage door and adjust until they are the same height and look about even on both sides. Than I drive around and adjust until the road is lit up best...
You will also need orange reflector bulbs if you put clear ones on to be legal. I won't go into to much detail as there are already some really good articles on this site. The 4hi leaves your dims on when you turn your brights on. It just consists of a relay and some wires. I like my headlight...
I put Hikari 9005 and 9006 LEDs in mine and I love them. Also did 4Hi mod. If you go with cheapo housings I suggest trying to reuse the original mounting brackets. Mine only lasted a few months before they broke. I got mine from headlights depot
I just recently deleted my EVO due to really twitchy steering a couple of months ago. First I just unplugged the sensor under the wheel, but it was super light steering. Also since it is now full boost my pressure line only lasted a couple of months before it blew. I didnt like the design of the...
I ended up pulling the pan again and testing the harness. I ohmed them to ground and got 3 out of 4 wires to read resistance so I am going to say my inner trans harness is bad. The old shift solenoids tested fine
I still have all dash functions, 2nd and 3rd gear. I didn't know that pulling the fuse puts it into third. Even when I manually shift it into first it still won't go. But I can connect my scanner to it and put it in first it reads that I am in first even though I'm in second.
No, my meter decided to take a dump so I decided to just put them in. I will probably take it apart again and use a friend's fluke meter on Monday, might ohm the old solenoids also.
