Coolant leak left rear side of block

Obviously best to do it correctly as shurkey posted. But GM did use coolant sealing tabs. I have a leaking intake manifold and using these stops coolant from reaching the ground on my truck. Might buy you some time. Put a couple in the rad before you go on a decent run. Seems to build up a...

    Long, long brake pedal.

My experience with the auto parts MC's (Duralast) was the front brake section would spurt fluid enough to get over the lip. Probably went through at least 6 of them over two replacements a couple years apart. The Delco one did the opposite and the rear brake section would spurt fluid enough to...

    Long, long brake pedal.

I've been through more than a couple MC's from the local auto parts store and I didn't kill all of them. I finally bought a delco from RA, that acted strangely when bench bleeding and it is leaking from the cap. Your issue could be a seal in the ABS or the MC itself. The constant bubbles...

    What is this plug?

That looks like the cable for the underhood light. If you have one of those then it's probably for the reel light that is optional.

    GM Tech2 Clone Experience?

Mine says fail on startup for RTC but it works and I can set the clock. Someone on another forum mentioned theirs did the same thing. My startup screen results are always across the page and I've seen others show the same. I think the cheap ones from fleabay are returns that have been...

    Seafoam OR Marvel Mystery oil?

I use MMO when I fill right up with gas. Quietened my screaming fuel pump a couple years back and I still haven't changed it. And I sometimes use 1/3 can seafoam in the engine oil for a couple days before I change it. That and cheap synthetic with some quick oil changes has made a huge...

    What shocks do I buy?

I just checked them out after they were recommended. Rears work on 2-4" lift and the fronts work on 4-6" lift. Read the reviews on the Amazon page. Plenty people with lift kits happy with them. Maybe someone that has them on will chime in.

    Oreilly's brand trans. fluid?

Somewhat relevant. Amazon has 1 Gal Delco Dexron VI for $20 with free shipping. Seemed like a deal worth sharing. https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-10-9395-Dexron-Automatic-Transmission/dp/B01EKMGG92/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=dexron+VI&qid=1602539395&sr=8-3

    What shocks do I buy?

Thanks. But it looks like 5100 will be too tall for the front as rated for 4-6" lift, but the rear should be fine as is only rated for 2-4"

    What shocks do I buy?

I replaced 20+ yo Bilsteins with the KYB Monomax for 1-3" lift. If I hadn't thrown the Bilsteins in the trash I would have put them back on. The front digs in too far and the rear bounces around. I was a bit spoiled as the PO that bought the Bilsteins had the fronts custom valved. That and...

    Conventional vs Synthetic Oil Debate

This! Since I switched to Wally World synthetic for some cheap quick oil changes a few years back I rarely hear my noisy lifter that sounded like it was trying to hammer it's way out of the engine at one point. I changed the oil every couple months four or five times and it slowly got quieter...
