I have a 1995 K1500 w/ 120K miles that I bought brand new.
I am looking for a CK Truck Parts and Illustration Manual that covers 1995. I have printed and PDF copies of the 1988-1991 and 1992-1993 CK truck Parts and Illustration Manuals, but GM quit making paper copies starting in 1994 so I have...
Probably a good move.. FYI: I have seen a few people saying you should avoid the 95... I disagree. I bought a 1995 K1500 350 Auto new and still have it at 117K miles. Yes, the HVAC controller is a one year part (so I picked up a spare).... I didn't know it when I bought it new, but it turns out...
I used a Cloyes Street True Roller Timing Set # 9-1100 in my 95 K1500 350. Only 117k miles so I didn’t change the cam. The original chain set did not have the crappy nylon gears, but the chain had about 15 degrees of slop.
I’m original owner 1995 K1500 PU. Replaced driver inside door handle 3 times. First time used genuine GM. Last 2 times used Dorman. No difference in quality between the 2. It is a poorly designed handle and well known failure point for these trucks.
Where did you get that spreadsheet? I couldn't find it on the Moates site. I have a stock 1995 K1500 I bought new, and I would like that information for the 95's.
