Front coil springs

hey guys, anyone ever put 3500 coil springs in a half ton truck, I’ve got a 91 extended cab 1/2 ton and I’m going to put a 6.5 I built in it and thought about using it as a tow rig.

Yes you can put them in. A couple people have reported 3/4" of lift if I remeber correctly. Personally i would probably invest a in actual lift spring with ball joint spacer (helps with alignment).

Sounds like he's after the rate more than the lift.

I put a set of 1 ton springs in a half ton but I chanced the upper control arm and spindles, I haven’t actually tried it leaving it a half ton
