Just wondering what everyone thinks of the transformation.
Background: truck was bought in Alabama from a policeman with only 92,000 miles on it. No rust no real dents. Clear coat was a mess, but with 20 years in the Alabama sun what do you expect.

First thing I did was replace the 20 year old oem head lights with some spyder projectors, and add a Dixie horn (like the one on the general lee) in the spare battery tray. It sat like that for almost a year until I needed new tires, then came a set of 33x12.50 r15 Baja claws. I picked them up used off Facebook for a pretty decent deal. I threw them on then realized that I could only turn a quarter of the way with the offset. So I threw on a body lift (with all of the raised bumper brackets.) I worked all summer and saved enough to get a maaco job after having to replace the fuel pump. Turned out pretty good and I have no complaints.

As it sits now I have a 3in body and 3in Rcx suspension lift running 35’s. I got a great deal on some Haida’s and Motometals so I hoped on it. The suspension kit took some battling in the garage to complete with a couple buddies, but now she’s close to sitting where I want her.

I forgot to mention somewhere in there I threw on a 52in curved amazon light bar with Apoc industries brackets(highly recommended them.) So that’s how she sits now any suggestions on what to do now (keep in mind I’m a broke high school senior, who daily’s this old girl, and doesn’t have daddy’s money to spend)

Truck looks good, id say just a good tune up, looks like driver door is sagging a bit. Glad to hear your working for the truck, unlike most high schoolers who get everything handed to the. It builds motivation and self sufficiency.
Is there anything your thinkin abt changing?

again I know this is late, but after my dad retired he decided he wanted to try selling and while he worked at a dealership I could get my oil changed for the price of oil. So against my better judgment I let them change them change the oil. After a about a week i noticed i had no oil pressure it was a quick drop and popped right back up so i figured it was just the stepper in the gauge going out. I was wrong got back home check the oil it was low. Immediately did an oil change, noticed only 2 quarts at most of oil in it. Slung a rod on the interstate otw to move into college. Its currently at a local shop getting a new 5.7. I would have loved to attempted the swap myself, but now im in college 3 hours away.
