Weighed my factory 2012 18s with Bridgestone 265/65/18s on them and they weigh 70 pounds per wheel and tire combo. I need to lighten things up!

Hi I'm new to the thread obviously. So I don't know if I ask here or where but I recently bought a 1989 chevy c2500 for 150 dollars. It needed a fuel pump, battery, new gaskets, and oil change, and new tires. I've gotten everything done but the tires. My tires are currently 16 inches, my question is will I have to lift my truck if I use some 18 inches off of a 2002 chevy tahoe. They have the same lug pattern. Or would it just be better to get the stock size. I really don't wanna modify the truck more then I have to I just need a good solid work truck. And the tires are all I need so I wanna make sure I don't waste 200 dollars on tires that won't fit.

You can get 18" tires in the same rolling diameter as the 16's and you shouldn't have any issues.

Duh. I only looked at the 1st pic.
Looks like Nitto 555 R's on the front. They're only made in 275/60's & 305/40's. A 305 isn't gonna fit on a 7" wide wheel.
Why anyone would put a drag radial on the front of a vehicle is beyond me. Corner like crap in the dry & in the wet... Useless.
The rear are M/T's and those are h-u-g-e! I'd say those are a 295/65, which is the largest they make in a 15.
