I got it out yesterday after disconnecting the exhaust and raising the engine. I gave up on moving the front diff. Thanks anyway.

again... 2wd? or 4wd? like Taylor said, there's no 2" lift for 4wd. just crank your tbars. 2wd, there is a 2" lift kit and it sucks. don't waste your money

Hey guys, so how unpractical do you think a 6in lift is for a daily driver? Obviously that comes with larger tires. I'm putting like 15,000 miles a year on my truck right now. And I have a few long trips from Utah to California to visit family about once to twice a year. Truck is stock height right now, been keeping it that way until the day comes when I have a different daily driver, but who knows when that will be! Thoughts on lifting now cause I really want to ha or keeping patient until a few years from now when I'm driving something else day to day?

For the amount of driving coming from someone in a similar situation I say wait, you're wallet will thank you!the amount of money you're about to spend on lift an tires not including rims can buy you a cheap gas saver daily. I've been wanting mine somewhat taller so I just bought new 285's and lift blocks to stick under it.

Thats a good point MDR. That money would definitely get me a gas saver or at least very close to one. Im with ya, I've been patient this far I can hang on a bit longer.

Did you crank your keys and put blocks in the rear? Any concerns with that? I wouldn't mind the 285's

Just had the tires installed yesterday, might get the the blocks under it this week sometime, and yeah I'll be cranking the front end to be level with the rear. Overall I'm gonna be waiting a minimum of another 2 years before I can lift it how I want an repair all the body rust
