Nice truck man, if you still have that nv4500, she needs to go on your "future plans" list. Sounds like you bout got figured out what you wanna do with it. On my truck, that was the hardest part.

Thank you sir! and haha oh it's on there, just for later on..
and Ain't it always. :rotflmao:

Awesome build man! Subbed for more
Thank you! More to come!

Not a 4X4 guy here, but I noticed that too. Didn't look right to me, but I ain't no expert on that.

Yeah, Haha yeahhhh, most likely from the snownut incident.
When I pulled the tbar and the LCA off, the torsion bar sprung back straight. I know t-bars are basically just linear springs and wear over time. So it's life expectancy was probably shortened a bit. But it'll have to do for now..
I do however, have a new used tbar and LCA that will be going on sometime here shortly after the frame is straightened.

Haha not to leave here, but there are a ton of tech articles I find in my research that I cannot view. I'm just gonna be a forum creeper.
Exactly what I use fsc for as well..

Pretty much why I joined here. And to comment on this thread.

Sorry for taking this off topic Nick, kind of what I do best

About time you joined this forum, and Yes Jeremy you are very good at that. haha

Also to add, the 93 2500 front diff won't fit without a good bit of modification.

Says it was a 6 lug 2500. I think it has the 8.5 like the half ton if i am not mistaken, the only reason he wants it is because it matches his rear gears.

Yeah that's why we got the front diff from the truck. The 6 lug 2500 trucks use the 8.25 front diff. That's how I got my 4.10s for the front of my truck when I did the 14 bolt swap. I talked to him earlier and the frame shop is done with his truck he shouldn't have a bent torsion bar anymore.

^^ this. Except I'll be running 3.73s

I feel like my 3.73s are just a bit under perfect for my 265s. It would probably take away from my "thrill" of driving if I had went to 285s. The stick defiantly helps since I've drove identical trucks, but with early 90s auto. It was weak with 265s and 3.73. What size are you going with?

Welcome!

Maybe you're getting past those days of beating the piss out of the ol' girl? Time to give her some TLC.

Yeah I'm thinking some all-terrain 285s. But I'm open to advice and ideas.

I got these, but in a 265 and they have been the best tire I've ran.

Wet and dry on road traction is great, mud, snow gravel, dirt and anything else has been just awesome! My front end is shot and they arent wearing at all, especially compared to the cooper st maxx they replaced which would be 1/4 worn in the same anout of miles I've ran these. I've burnt them quite a few times with no chunking or odd wearing. I absolutely love them. Definatly will buy them again. They do have a bit of road noise to be expected.

They look perdy good to boot

Sweet thanks man, I'll look into them.

I also forgot to add this to the end of the OP.

Current plan as far as NV4500: Clean it and Rebuild obviously, then just wait until the current 3500 craps out.
