I recently picked up a 14 bolt sf from a junkyard and all the brake components were shot. I priced out everything to replace it all and it turned out not crazy expensive but I was unsure if there were any cheaper conversion kits out there? Thanks

There is a guy on another site that is offering kits for the 14b SF. He is using 02-06 truck, suv, burb brake parts. I am doing same swap to my 14b SF and to do this requires a 60mm spacer ( I had one made ) to bolt all the brake hardware on. You could always go to junk yard and pull parts yourself to reduce cost.

The link is: fullsizechevy.com/forum/classifieds/sale/suspension-brakes/520421-obs-rear-disc-kits-front-upgrade-kits-sale.html He has the pricing for kit in this link. He is not a vendor.
The 14 bolt Sf requires a 60 mm spacer. I ordered the wrong spacer the first time (20 mm) and had to reorder the 60 mm. The 20 mm is for 10 bolt rear ends doing this swap. I have it if anyone needs it.

Th swap to disc on the 14 bolt SF is not going to cheap no matter how you go ,but you save about 50/60 pounds per axle side is one benefit.

I paid $100 for the 60 mm spacer and the 20 mm spacer was $50 plus shipping.

That's awesome, how did it all work out for ya? I was looking at a little over 300 bucks to have all the drum brake parts replaced so I figured now would be the time to do this swap. I'm curious to the name of the guy with the spacers as well.

I have not completed the swap and just collecting parts until this spring and do it then.
If you actually decide to do the disc swap and need the 60 mm spacer, I will contact the guy and see if he will make another. He gave me a break on the cost of the 60 mm because I had him make the wrong one. I posted (#7) what the spacers cost me.
