Im curious to know if these will fit as well... Looking to get rid of the bench in my 88

Im putting 60/40 seats from a 98 in my 88 and this is a problem, the middle support doesnt fit the dimple where the seat bolt to i want to know if i have to swap something from an 88 seat or what.

You have to cut (shorten) the rear bracket down and bolt it together, or weld it. did the same swap in my '89.

so the rear leg has to be the same height as the front leg? And did yours line up with the factory "dimple"?

Not really. Is the dimple the same height as the front mount? If it isn't, you'd have to adjust for the difference when you cut. I'd have to look at mine. It's been a while.

no it ahead of the dimple and a good 2 inches above. I think i can unbolt that side and take it to work to cut and weld it back together.
