Stumbled across an ad on Facebook and wondered if anyone had experience with this product?

It would be great to replace the nylon license plate nuts I’m currently using to solve the issue. Price seems reasonable, just wondering about quality.

Haven't used em but I've been 3D printing for quite a while. The quality is ok looking, looks like they over extrude but that is likely on purpose to increase strength. They make a wild claim about their design but it's a very basic design, nothing special about it. Their claims about PETG are true but slightly misleading, the plastic begins to soften at a much lower ~158F. I've used PETG for various car parts including load bearing parts, they've held up in the Texas summer.

The price is decent albeit the lead times are a little long, I'd expect them to have some in the popular colors pre-made and ready to ship but that's irrelevant. More than likely worth it based on what I've seen, so long as they ship.

All that said, if you want to support a forum member and don't care about the color or want to paint it yourself you can always get the ones from @Cunningham Machine

Plenty of folks, including me, have had experience buying from them

I never knew they carried these. Not a fan of “billet bling” (no offense!) so never clicked into that section of their site. In fact I think I’ve only ever looked at their hinge repair parts. Thanks!

I have the ones from dash savers. They are ok, it was tough to get the screws in them because the washers are a tight fit. Otherwise they do the job they are advertised to do. Their shipping price was excessive imo, the cost definitely did not compare with the speed they arrived. I'd rather have the old metal ones but apparently they aren't made anymore.

I looked at the Cunningham ones but honestly for nearly the same price an I don't have to paint them the dash saver won out. I also dont understand why he sells them 4 to a set?

I saw today they (dash savers) are not shipping at all during April so you better order soon if you want them before May.

I'm not a fan of most billet stuff either, I got their steering shaft
