Sticking with our M.O. of buying vehicles we don’t need without selling any of the other vehicles we already have that we don’t need, we just purchased this 2014 Camaro LS V6 6 speed manual.

I wanted a 3rd gen project, she wanted a 4th gen driver, so we somehow agreed on this lol.

Yes, I’m like every car guy, and talked crap about the V6, then I drove it. I can’t phantom how modern V6 engines make over 300 HP stock, I grew up in a time when V6s were total turds lmao.

I wasn’t going to post a thread, or mess with it much (wife’s play car, mine is the dually). But I’ve already ordered a bit of stuff for it because I can’t not repair / modify stuff. Here’s a few pics, I’ll get better pics of it clean later today.

My wife has an 18 Camaro RS Redline with the same set-up. It's certainly not fast, but it's got enough power to get out of its own way.
Looks good, and she likes it.

Like it. I've off and on looked at 2010+ Camaros, but never serious enough to get one. I do like the front/rear refresh they put on these in 2014.

If I could convince my wife to get one, that be great, but she's hung up on SUVs.

Adjusted the parking brake, while I was in there, I painted the rear calipers and scrubbed the inside of the rims.

Fronts are coming soon, I already have the new pads and rotors in my garage…and no, I still hadn’t washed it lol.

Yes every era has a " looks good on paper " powerplant, but then reality strikes home. And " WTH were they thinking?".
My favorite V6, 87 Buick GNX, my neighbor let me drive one in a while. Lots of fun.
