What oil pan are you using? Is it the GM Muscle car pan kit, or one of the Holley knock-off pans? I'm getting ready to swap an LS into my '88 Cheyenne, which has a 2-4 drop, and am concerned that the stock truck pan will set too far below the cross member. Thanks

It's the GM muscle car oil pan kit. It was $237 from speedway motors. I definitely wasn't going to chance running a poorly cast Chinese oil pan like the Holley or the knock offs, given the cash in this engine.

The previous 6.0 also had a GM Muscle car pan kit / LH8 pan.

So, the parts gnome swung through last night. Got the drivetrain assembled. Weird dude, weird requests for payment.

Wanted two bumps of Colombian bam bam and a specific Play boy from April of 1984. Must be a M/U/F/F guy?

Hauled the 90 up to the shop today, so we could shoehorn the new 6.0 / T56 in the truck.

Engine and trans are in and mounted, the only thing I was displeased with is having to cut the shifter hole 5" further back. So i'll have to patch the floor and replace the carpet, once again. As the AR5 shifter was 5" closer to the firewall, than the T-56 shifter.

Alright, short bit of work today. As the game comes on soon.

Got the underside buttoned up, exhaust reinstalled, driveshaft removed and new 31 spline yoke installed, other odds and ends on the bottom.

Need to get the topside wiring, blower and new billet accessory brackets installed. Not too far off from a fire up, now.
