The basic truck visors (without the lighted mirrors) don't have those, they just kind of sit in place.
I guess that’s what I’ve got. I was looking at trying to make nbs visors fit just so I could have the clip but now I know suburbans and apparently tahoes have nicer visors than I have. @caw_86 sorry for taking up space in your post, carry on :rotflmao:

Your vehicle most likely has the holes behind the headliner to attach the clip, just need to find it and screw one in

Pretty sure most of the Suburbans have this style, my '97 does.

I think Orpedcrow was referring to the little bar that clips into the receptacle on the headliner to hold the visors in place, slightly outside of the red circle in the picture. The basic truck visors (without the lighted mirrors) don't have those, they just kind of sit in place.
Yes the Silverado trim package has the deluxe visor with the slide out extension, the lighted mirror ( that the door always breaks on, this happened on all 3 of my 400s!) and the hook clip that the visor snaps into, to keep it from vibrating. Those clips are hard to find intact too; you have to learn the proper procedure for popping it loose(and teach it to everyone who rides in the front of your truck).
Might be in some of the convenience or special value trim groups too, need to research this on window stickers and option guides.....

Could the doors be 3d printed? Are both sides interchangeable? Might be able to help here. My suburban sunshades are this kind and broken.

The doors are interchangeable, the mirror piece is not, specific to left/right due to push button hole placement.

I guess they could, they really need to be metal where the usually break though, its such a small piece of plastic holding them on

After hitting up three yards today and combing through hundreds of vehicles, i found a grand total of three door flaps that were unbroken, and 2 of them the little bar was already cracked.

Going forward i dont think this will be a realistic thing. But i did learn a new fact, the 99-05 blazer/jimmy has different model number sunvisor, but the doorflap/mirror piece is the same part. I dont think these parts are individually listed, just the entire sunvisor. At anyrate, they were just a broken as the obs trucks. But it greatly expands the vehicle search for usable parts by including the 99-05 jimmy blazer

Have you worked with any of the double-visors? I've got a set that I'm about to put in my Dually, and I'd love to have the ragged and stained cloth replaced. Surprisingly, my boards seem to be in good shape.
