So As the title says I know its not OBS related but I respect alot of yalls opinions on matters as throughout the years we have all traded advise and bounced Ideas of eachother.

2020 Chevy silverado 2500 HD 6.6 L8T (10k miles on it)

So I bought the truck December 14th of 2020 brand new and has been great other than one Reoccurring issue the brakes. first 5k miles zero issues with squeaking unless the truck sat for a week or so then the typical brake the rust off then zero issues .
however around 6-7k miles the truck has developed a Ear Piercing squeal sometimes going away as the brakes build heat or other times persistant throughout. the truck has been in the shop under warranty 4 times

1st time : They replaced the Front Pads per the tech bulletin below

2nd time : Replaced Front and rear pads

3rd time : Replaced front and rear pads and Front Rotors

4th time : Brannish the brakes Via another Bulletin I can't seem to locate

... Each time these fixes where attempted the brakes were quiet for about 5-600 miles and they started right back up.
Now I haven't personally had the time to actually crack them open one weekend but I just don't understand how or why this keeps occurring.

I'm ready to drive this thing through the dealership sounding like a Train coming to a stop.

Sorry, but dealerships don't really care about solving your warranty problems. The manufacturers don't pay as well as customer jobs, and the techs don't care because they don't break even for their time on warranty work. I'm going to guess that you also haven't been receiving any customer surveys from Chevrolet. As a Nissan technician, my "warranty satisfaction" bonuses were pot-luck. A customer who got great service and had their issue fixed would bomb you because there wasn't coffee in the waiting room. A customer who was mad from the get-go wouldn't get a survey because the writer would "accidentally" mess up the customer's address. About half the time I'd get a monthly $200 bonus for having 100% 5-star surveys. It was a serious case of pencil-whipping the "we care about customers" box while not seriously caring for the either the dealership or the brand's reputation.

To your problem: are you either overly aggressive or overly timid with your brakes? Do you left foot brake or ride the brakes? Is there anything in your driving environment that's abnormal? Do you drive through salt water contaminated with oil residue, decomposing crocodiles, and radioactive mine tailings? Is there a rock wedged in your caliper bracket that the technician is too inexperienced to look for and find?

Seems like not much has changed since I worked at Dodge over a decade ago. to your question I dont "abuse the brakes nor am I extremley timid with them. I dont drive it any different than any of my other vehicles and they dont share the same problem. the only thing is I dont tow with it as much as Id like to due to lack of time as i bought it to tow my toys. maybe Im not getting them hot enough more frequently? Ive considered that but in the same regard I dont like the idea of sensibly beating the brakes just to get them quiet

Maybe do a quick brake-bedding drive? The dealer technicians should be doing this, but that's absolutely the kind of thing they would skip to save time.

A heavyish stop with your left foot and before it actually stops (maybe 20mph) hold the brakes on and go into the throttle and push for a bit. That should remove any 'glazing' that could be causing squealing.

Presumably, every time new parts have been fitted some form of lubricant has been applied. Is it still present when the squealing reappears? It does a lot to damp vibrations and Coppaslip dries out very quickly. An NLGI#2 grease with reasonable high temp (350F) capability is better IMO.

An old hack is to cut a groove across the pad material to alter its resonant frequency and push the squeal out of audible range. Never tried it and only as a last resort would I contemplate it but it has worked for some in the past albeit probably on much smaller brake set-ups.
