2020 Chevy silverado 2500 HD 6.6 L8T (10k miles on it)
So I bought the truck December 14th of 2020 brand new and has been great other than one Reoccurring issue the brakes. first 5k miles zero issues with squeaking unless the truck sat for a week or so then the typical brake the rust off then zero issues .
however around 6-7k miles the truck has developed a Ear Piercing squeal sometimes going away as the brakes build heat or other times persistant throughout. the truck has been in the shop under warranty 4 times
1st time : They replaced the Front Pads per the tech bulletin below
2nd time : Replaced Front and rear pads
3rd time : Replaced front and rear pads and Front Rotors
4th time : Brannish the brakes Via another Bulletin I can't seem to locate
... Each time these fixes where attempted the brakes were quiet for about 5-600 miles and they started right back up.
Now I haven't personally had the time to actually crack them open one weekend but I just don't understand how or why this keeps occurring.
I'm ready to drive this thing through the dealership sounding like a Train coming to a stop.
