I’ve found only a single reference to impala control arm used on an OBS. A little research shows they are 3/4” narrower than stock. Has anyone made this swap or can share some info?

It's definitely a common issue. But if this was a common solution, it would be common knowledge. I'm sooooo interested in seeing where this goes!! Lol
Yep, good theory…I’ve only dropped the front by 3” and with 245/45R20, I have tire scrub….this has to be a common issue and has to be a good solution

Bad wheel choice, if you're not stuck to them, I'd choose something more suited to a lowered application. I don't have any info on running the arms you're asking about, but if they work, could help.. any link to the info you did find so we can check it out?

Only mentioned here in another thread but zero reference…this week I’m gonna order a pair and compare…

Which "Impala"... the 91-96 B-body? If so, were those on the B-body station wagons and / or Cadillac Fleetwood (built on the D-body but which I think shared components with the Roadmasters, ImpalaSS, Old Custom Cruisers) any sturdier?

(edit) Jeez, I just checked RockAuto and I see the replacement LCAs were used as far back as 1977 and up through 1996. Whether any of the OE parts were any sturdier on certain models, I can't surmise.
