Everything you have done , I need to do as well , except I will probably replace the engine with a crate engine . I will be using your great videos as a guide, thanks . I am retiring December 22nd this year so I have been putting off all projects until I have time to work on them at my leisure.

If you're going this balls deep, look into a hydro boost swap to make the thing stop.

I wish you would have said this before I did the master cylinder! I'll probably run it as is for a while, but if I'm not happy with the brakes I'll go this route.

It's been a while since I posted an update, so here it is... the front end rebuild is complete! This took much longer than expected, mainly due to me being a perfectionist and wanting to clean and paint the frame while everything was apart. A note to anyone else trying this, the lower control arm bushings are VERY hard to replace. I ended up buying a second set of control arms after a local shop bent my original control arms trying to press in new bushings. The tangs that support the bushings are very thin and you need to build a jig to support them when pushing in the new bushings.

As far as suspension parts, I mostly went with the Mevotech TTX line. I think it came together really nice. Finished it off with a set of Bilstein shocks and Cunningham Machine tie rod sleeves.

I also want to say that I've been loving your videos!

Do you have experience with AC Delco suspension parts and how they compare to the Mevotech? I'll rebuiidling mine within the next year, my parts approach in general has been GM OE > AC Delco > best "other" that I can find.

I've had great luck with AC Delco stuff, I wouldn't be scared to use it for the front end rebuild.
