My wife's '09 Chrysler 300 has the 3.5 V6. The tensioner broke off and was rattling around. I drove the car twenty miles home, took the timing cover off and said, "Oh, $#!+!" I'm still not sure how it didn't jump time.
The newer generation of 3.5 is different from the 90s one. Mom has an 04 Pacifica with the newer 3.5, in transverse position, and it's way different than the older one. For instance, you have to pull the upper intake manifold to change the spark plugs....and I don't want to even think about how not-fun the water pump/ timing service is gonna be!
It's a Chrysler when you're cruising, a Mercedes when you're wrenching.

I checked before I posted, and they put the same EGx V6 engine family in both the Intrepids and 300s up until 2011ish. The difference may be in the transverse/longitudinal mounting. The timing belt on the 300 was the easiest timing belt job I'd ever done - until it came time to get all the sprockets lined up.

I think it was fairly easy on my Intrepid, but it did have the advantage of the engine not being transverse mounted. And when replacing the water pump, not too hard to pull the radiator either, and that gives a bit more space. There's nowhere near the room to work on the Pacifica.
I did plugs twice, and plug wires and coil pack once, on the Dodge, and it wasn't that difficult. Close quarters, but very doable, just take your time and pay attention. Needed a looong extension for the plug socket, and tape it to the socket so they don't separate while you are going down the hole, but that was about it for problems....not much different than the GM's I've worked on.
That Chrysler is a whole other ball of wax though.
