Driveshaft loop?

Anyone have one, if so how did you mount it and where?

did these only come on certain years? and is it just incase the u-joint brakes it doesnt f**k up anything when it whips around??

I’m looking for a drive shaft loop as well on my 96 gmc c1500 single can standard bed. It has a 2001 4l80e now and a 520crank hp 6.0

They are generally a universal item. On my drag car I mounted it six inches from the trans yoke.

This is how the guy that made my driveshaft did the safety loop, mine is a two piece driveshaft so this covers the front and rear.

I totaly agree-when you google **** you wanna get to a thread like this. Which reminds me that I really gotta get my ass to do the write up on that rear door seal...
