I have a question, does anyone know if the Fiveomotorsports replacement injectors are any good? I’d like to upgrade but time and money doesn’t allow for the. 0411 computer swap or the GTP 36pound per hour injectors Lawrence Lt was talking about on YouTube. I need to do headers and an exhaust. The. Eventually I’ll swap the cam and valve springs. If all else fails me with gasoline engines I’ll Cummins swap it. I don’t want the wiring hassle of a 24 valve and there’s already a full kit to swap a 12 valve in with the current 4L80-E I have but I’m not sure I like the 4l80 behind a Cummins.
If you're thinking diesel, consider a Duramax. One of my buddies has a 2010 (idk the nomenclature, LLM maybe?) Duramax with a 6L90 in a square dually.

that actually sounds pretty cool, I’ve considered a Duramax before but my good ol friend with the black truck from a few posts back has convinced me to go with the Cummins route. And I love shifting gears myself so the Cummins just makes the whole swap into butter. I’d like to do a 24 valve Cummins but I’d hate to match up all that wiring so I’m going with a 12 valve. I might go with the Dieselconversionspecialists swap kit but instead of keeping the 4l80 in there I’d go with a NV4500 5 speed and maybe the 3500 Borgwarner transfer case, I’m just not sure on the transfer case yet. And if I am to do this conversion it will be a few years down the road when I have the time and money to do it.

But on another note, does anyone have advice for L29 Vortec injectors? I just need a good company to buy from for a decent price. I don’t see myself having trouble with swapping the injectors as I’ve been under that intake and in the fuel delivery department for the past week straight.

LMM, is it actually a 6l90? Or did you mean the allison 1000? Either way sounds sweet.

As far as injectors go, IMO a tune and takeout EV1 injectors are the way to go. 36 lbs are a great plenty for a stock ish truck, ls1 or ls6 injectors are probably a better fit. Good data out there for them in the 0411.

Sweet! Gorgeous Burb, I love that color and the interior looks like a shot from the brochure! Never seen one that nice and pristine inside.

So long time no see eh? In the mean time I have moved out of my family’s house and moved in with better family in Idaho and brought my Burb with me. I moved because I had trust issues with my other family. But I need to figure out my Title situation. Just tonight I took the burb for a spin and she did great, just a little too underpowered. And I believe my torque converter is having issues of its own. Hard to describe. I was going up a gravel hillside road in 2wd 1st gear and she wouldn’t spin tires so I don’t think she’s too happy. But I did take two nice photos and took off the front impact strip piece and license plate bracket. I like the look. Pics in next post.
