How about a right side dash extension to allow a DIN head unit to be installed in a 88-94 dash? I know you can't do the whole bezel or surround due to the size of the printer. There are 2 inches before contact with the center panel in the dash. The aftermarket center panels aren't really very good unless you are an orangutan. I'm just beginning my quest to build just that for Frank (my dually) and I think others would be interested in getting an easy to install piece. It could be made in 2 pieces that bolt together in the center. Just a thought. If/when I get mine finished I will put up a thread on the how to.

@Wildblue19 this might seem an odd request, but would you be able to do what would look like a fuse box delete door for the 88-94s? Basically a door without the handle (a smooth visible surface outside), leaving as much space inside as possible but with the usual tabs that hold it in place?

I hope I'm making sense here. I'm doing a custom fuse panel in the factory location, and I hope to be able to put relays and circuit breakers in it as well, but the relays don't allow the factory door to fit if I put them on anything but the bottom row. And the circuit breakers are taller even than the relays so yeah, having a bit of an issue lol. It's to a point where I wouldn't mind if the door stuck out from the dash a bit farther than factory, if it could give me more room behind it.

It's possible to modify the CAD file to be flush instead of having a handle. Is the cover still able to snap into place using the original design?

@Wildblue19 Are you able to make a blank 95-98 cluster replacement I am finding them for the 88-94 for various setups but nothing for the 95-98, I am going with a Holley Sniper EFI with a 3.5" screen, a 3-3/8" Speedometer, and the 3-4 2-1/6" gauges(Fuel,Air,Temp,Volt).

Will a flat face give you enough room for the relays or does the face need to be extended outwards?

I might need an extra 1/8"... Like, deepen the outer edge lip, or keep the same lip depth at the bottom and deepen the lip across the top, then it would most likely be perfect.

The lip I'm referring to is the perimeter of the door btw, in case I'm not clear.

This is what I'm working with.

Those are my mini circuit breakers, they're the tallest of anything I'll be putting in here, and they actually don't stick out as far as I thought. Your door, without anything except the side tabs on the inside of it, may actually work as-is. But, if you could easily give it a little extra interior space, that would be better lol.

If it's too much trouble to deepen, I don't really think I'll need it to be - I can always rearrange the fusing lol. Come to think of it, I don't think I have any of these breakers on the top row anyway, and that's the only place they're likely to keep the door from closing if the same depth is maintained. I just need that handle to disappear :p
