Looks dope man, how's the stopping power vs drums? vs single caliper discs? Any screwy stuff with backspacing/wheel size to fit them?

What is the benefit of dual calipers? If one will lock the wheel up it seems that clamping force on the rotor isn't stopping you from, well, stopping....

Honestly that's kinda what I was thinking, but in theory, can't your stock drums lock up the wheel too? Does that mean there's no reason to upgrade even to discs? I wonder if there's any legit science done on this, I think a few newer vehicles come stock with the dual calipers so I'd be interested to know.

Maybe you get a softer pedal with these... more surface area means you need less pedal force to slow down.

Yes, drums will lock up a wheel as well, but the advantage of discs is efficiency.
My car has huge brakes (14.1 inch rotors up front) but single calipers.
I think the dual calipers looks great as you said, I was just curious about why besides that.

Discs are also more fade resistant which, generally speaking, is of little concern out back.

My drums weren't stopping worth a crap.

I did the single caliper conversion and it worked amazing!

I decided to shoot for the dual conversion bracket because of how it looks to be honest. The truck has better stopping power at a higher in the pedal. And it looks fkn SWEET! HA!!
