Hi all. Ive got the tunerpro rt software downloaded on my laptop running windows 10 and the red devil river usb to truck connection I got off Ebay. I'm attempting to use this on a 1993 Silverado 4.3 with 4L60E transmission and cannot get the truck to communicate with my laptop. Granted I'm not a computer wizard but as far as I can tell everything is installed correctly and my laptop shows the usb cable when it's connected to the laptop but nothing shows up on tunerpro. I'm mostly just wanting to use this for data acquisition and to check for codes easier than just using a paperclip and counting flashes lol! Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have the corresponding .adx definition file for your PCM loaded?

I believe so, there looks to be 3 different files and I for the moment just picked one for now. It didn't say which kind of transmission though. After working a 12+ hour day I admit my patience and energy levels aren't very high lol! I did take this picture of the computer last year when I had it out running the wiring when I added my heated mirrors, I figured I might need the information off of it someday.

I’m having the same issue, (actually same aldl cable and ecm#…) did you ever get it working?
FYI - you need to download TunerPro RT, not just TunerPro, which will not data log. Plus Version 5xx uses .adx files, earlier versions use .ads I can't remember where but, there is a conversion utility for .ads to .adx

When configuring TP to data log make sure you have the same port on your laptop (in Device Manager) as in TP. You need to have the cable plugged in to the laptop but, not neccessarily the ALDL port in the truck. In Wondows 10/11 the port won't show up until it is plugged in.

In TP go to Tools\Preferences\Data Acq,/Emulation then click on Configure Plug-in Component, set port number (here it's COM4) and Port Type to Standard Serial
