Wound up with a little more chop than I was expecting.

This is at 700RPM with 12* of idle timing.

Things I did:
Summit 8719R1 Truck cam
LS6 valve springs
New Felpro Stem seals
TBSS/NNBS Intake manifold
90mm 4 bolt throttle body
EV6 36LB/HR E85 Gen 4 injectors

Truck is a 5.3 with milled 243 LS6 heads.

That chop isn't too bad. My Camaro is set to idle around 900 or so, at 700 that thing would chop really hard.

Not that it needs it, but it would probably clean up a little at 800 or 850 RPM.

Sounds good, how's it drive?

Haven't had a chance yet. Just burped the cooling system and still need to change the oil.

I'm hoping it torques like a 350 but still has some LS legs.

This is exactly what I found during my test drive. The low-end torque is significantly better now. Midrange pulls hard.

I'm finally happy with a linear power LS. No longer does it feel peaky.

Unfortunately on my drive over to a friend's house, it hiccuped once and I didn't think much of it.

Shut it off at his house for an hour, went to fire it up and it was idle surging like a pro mod.

Holley ecm indicates a crank sensor signal issue. So I'll head back over tomorrow afternoon and replace the crank sensor. As I left the truck at his house.

It was the cam sensor that failed on the truck. Put it in wastefire mode on the Holley today and drove the truck home.

Did finish the H/C/I 5.3 for the Impala today. Hopefully get to throw it in next weekend.

Also had the windshield replaced and put the new interior rear view mirror on the Impala.
