How do I make a 1998 GMC K2500 with cranked Keys not ride so horrible (already got longer front shocks didnt help that much)

Yeah sorry man you need to body lift and return your keys to normal tension if you want an affordable lift. There aren't a lot of good options out there for lifts for the 3/4 ton trucks that are cheap.

Alternative is a full subframe drop which is wayyyyu more involved and $$.

Literally body lift is only real option on these trucks if you're trying to get any more than a 1/2" lift or so cheaply.

A 3" body lift should give u clearance for sure. Ur raising the body 3" inches off the frame. What suspension lift are u thinking about. I recently bought a superlift k274 so super lucky. I also grabbed the shackle flip from ORD.

I know it allows me to fit larger tires, but other than that the frame is just as close to the ground as it would be from the factory. Plus there's the ugly gap underneath the bed, the rear bumper not sitting at the right height... I'm just not a fan. If I could've found another truck in the same condition for the same price without a body lift, I would've taken that over this.

for 33s crank a little and trim a little your front end will be fine and it will look good. another option run a bl and fully decrank that way you front end is in super good condition, and with a bl you can easily clear 35s. remember that the way to clear bigger tires is all in the wheels. you can fit 35s on just a little crank and trim on stock wheels. as for the rcx it is a fantastic kit. it is the easiest to install and rcx gives the best customer support out of all obs lift brands. get the rcx and some 35s and you will be full of win.
Did some donuts in the snow it was wicked

Hey guys... I've googled, & tried & tried to search on here, but can't find what I'm looking for...

Anyone happen to have a pic of a k1500 with a 4" suspension lift & 3" body lift on 295/75/17" (33.26") rubber?

I have those tires & RC 4" lift now.. Considering a 3" body lift.. but I really don't want it to look stupid with those wheels.. My avatar doesn't reflect the wheels & tires I currently have on er now...

Thanks in advance...

I dont have any pics but I don't think you'll find many with that setup. 33s will look tiny on 7"

What is your setup, and how does your truck do towing that trailer?

Any body running skyjacker 6 inch lift kits? I know they’ve been around for awhile like Superlift but they still make kits for the OBS trucks unlike Superlift.

It was towing pretty darn good! However, everyone always wants better, so that’s why I just had new heads, cam, & torque converter installed. I can’t comment on the new upgrades as I won’t be towing again until spring.

I have a 4 inch Superlift on my truck. I know so little about it... But. The front end needs rebuiling. Do I need any special arms or brackets or anything for the rebuild? I was looking into like... Upper and lower A arms I think they are called... and bushings, and ball joints and whatnot... but yeah... I have been trying to find info for a while on it :(

It's just gonna look 3" taller... and like it needs bigger tires. What are you trying to gain out of the body lift? Are the tires rubbing as is?

Personally I wouldn't do a body lift unless you need more tire clearance and don't want to cut the bumper and fender... you're just going to expose more frame and there will be a 3" gap between the hitch receiver and the bumper. Your running boards will hide most of the frame though.

If more tire clearance is what you're looking for, I have a real trick way to trim the front bumper edge and back of the front fender so that it is almost un-noticeable. I have 305/70/16's on my K2500 and no lift this way.
