Underneath looks pretty good, I would wonder about the rocker panels since it appears they have some kind of chrome trim on them. Sometimes that's covering up stuff....
Good miles for a 98. If truck is cheap enough and good structurally, mechanical stuff can be fixed.

Yes I'd say so too. Better be almost perfect for that kinda $$$. One thing about 94 and 95 is there are a lot of parts that are only for those years (or 95 only).

Maybe if its spotless 4500.
But they are not rare or hard to find up here

I have not yet, wandering if there are some common things to check when I go look at it?

That's a very clean looking truck for these parts . It almost had to been brought in from the South the frame is too clean and the bed supports look rust free. As said look at rockers and cab corners if there nice and original negotiate on it. There hard to come by around here that nice,but that is a hefty price tag and they are only original once. Maybe carfax it to find more out about it.
