It’s basically a spring-loaded pipe wrench. I’m thinking it will be good for loosening hoses and tackling big nasty bolts. It got teeth like a pipe wrench but has a smaller profile so it can get into tight places. Home Depot sells them.

The ups-man dropped of my new toys. Really like the size of the 1/2”.

Ok i am jealous. I removed airbags with my m12 1/4 inch impact yesterday. That half inch would have been sooo much faster.

Yeah, that’s the problem with these. Once you get one you start looking at what else they have.

Kind of have my eye on the 3/8 ratchet. They aren’t the highest in torque, but looks like it’d be really handy to spin a bolt out after breaking it loose manually.

I've had the 1/2" M12 for just over a year now, and I love it. It's limit for removal is somewhere around 130 ft/lb, it can *just* do the lug nuts on my Yukon, but it's still faster letting it rattle away than it is to break em all loose with a bar.

I've had a broken extendable magnet that I've used for years but somehow it doesn't seem as strong as it used to be. The snappy guy came by the shop and I hit him up. For 20 bones I have a really strong magnet. Definitely more than what I would've spent at Harbor Freight but it is much stronger of a magnet when compared to one of my guys HF.

Picked up a new DeWalt mechanics tools set. My last set was only 1/4 and 3/8 and the new truck has some larger fasteners than my subaru did. Of the 198 pieces, none are those stupid screwdriver bits
