Another happy Lextech customer here - got the 0411 swap done on my 2000 Tahoe Limited a few days ago and the pinout was right on and super easy to use.

I ended up buying EFILive as it is able to do a few things that it seems like HPTuners perhaps can't - reprogram the VIN and do some emissions-related fiddling that I need to be able to control for the engine I built. It has been quite straightforward to use as both a scanner and as a tuning tool, but I do have prior experience building a few cars that run Megasquirt.

The CASE relearn doesn't require anything special for an L31, just the ability to read the CMPRET parameter. EFILive has the extended GM parameters to do this, and I'm 99% sure HPT does too. The LS-based engines, among others, are the ones that use the bidirectional control I believe. Apparently both EFILive and HPTuners have that functionality if you need it, though.

Ok guys. It isn't hard to scroll up. I'll say it one last time and then I'm turning off notifications for this thread. Lextech is no longer on any forums. But he still sees private messages sent to him. Send him a PM including your email address and truck info. He will email you back.
