Hey folks. I am a 17 year old from SC currently rebuilding my late grandfather's '93 Sierra. It is a single-cab stepside z71 5 speed manual. When I was about 14, I was told this would be my truck and i'd either learn to drive it or walk to school. I was not too thrilled about getting it as I originally wanting a squarebody but fell in love with the truck during my freshman year of high school. After I got the 'ok' from my dad that I could make it how I wanted it, I immediately began working and saving to make it the best dang truck in the state of South Carolina. It suffered some bumps and bruises since being purchased from a construction company in '96. I replaced the headliner and driver's side door assembly within the first month that it was officially mine. After that was a new tailgate and taillights and some new mud tires later on. Then October 15th happened. I was driving home from our local Waffle House after eating with some friends from church and the engine began knocking very bad. I pulled over and popped the hood and i blew the already-piece-of-crap motor. Paid 2 grand myself and 1500 from my parents for a new one. (1/2)

I got the truck back after almost a month and just yesterday cranked my torsion keys and replaced the master cylinder since the breaks were shot. Ordered a new grill, head and park lights, and bumper just a few days ago, and I am getting a killer deal on a pair of 10 inch kickers for behind the seat. Then I will be saving for a toolbox, tint, touch screen, and exhaust, and my baby will be done. I'd trade that truck for my granddaddy in a heartbeat but I am excited to build this thing in his honor! (2/2)

I love this truck!! I’m sure you already know this, but make sure you get it aligned after cranking the keys.

I don’t have one right now but will get one in the morning. I like the zig zag but don’t know how I could replicate it with the new paint job that will come in the next 6-8 months
Thanks man!

Most vinyl shops should be able to replicate it. I had a vinyl shop replicate some 90s graphics for my 98 for under $200.
