At that time, the average age of a vehicle on the road was 8.5 years. Now it's 12. They built these trucks to last through the first owner, who they figured would sell it off at the four year mark and buy new.

The only issue I had with using the 88-91 dash is where the plug for the instrument cluster slides in is different from the 92-94. I had to cut a square in the dash to slide the plug thru and just press it into the gauge cluster. So far it hasn’t backed out.

I have a brown dash out of 90' that I've been thinking about selling, not sure how I would ship it though.

I have some bins of GMT-400 parts, let me know..It is strange on how the plastic quality changes over the years. I find the 95+ door handles seem to be made of better plastic..

Hi , no manual gray window crank handles..I had some black ones (I don't know where those are) but "upgraded" my interior to chrome..lol
